About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team at Eversafe Fire & Safety in Morningside, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and repair of fire extinguishers to ensure the safety and compliance of our clients' premises.

What you'll be doing

  1. Inspect, test, and service fire extinguishers according to Australian Standards
  2. Maintain detailed records of all inspections, testing, and maintenance activities
  3. Respond promptly to client requests for fire extinguisher servicing and repairs
  4. Provide expert advice to clients on fire safety equipment and regulations
  5. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of fire safety services
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our fire safety processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Recognised qualification in fire safety or a related technical field
  2. Minimum 1 years' experience as a fire extinguisher technician or in a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of Australian fire safety standards and regulations
  4. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Exceptional customer service orientation
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  8. Current driver's licence and QBCC Licence
