We are looking for Qualified (Refrigeration) Technicians and apprentices in the following locations:

  1. Brisbane (South - Gold Coast)
  2. Brisbane (City)
  3. Brisbane (North - Sunshine Coast)

The Role

We are looking for multiple experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our established team of fire/mechanical protection professionals offering complete building fire safety solutions. You will undertake routine maintenance and service on all aspects of HVAC systems including essential services using your industry knowledge to effectively complete testing, inspection, fault finding, repairs and installation.

Key Competencies

  • Undertake all works in a methodical well organised and safety conscious manor.
  • Ability to Work autonomously and unsupervised or within a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Provide detailed reports as part of an overall excellent communication skill set.
  • Conduct maintenance, repair and installation work to a high standard
  • Possess practical mechanical engineering and technical skills, and the ability to make calculations, interpret drawings and follow instructions.
  • Exceptional fault-finding skills with a sound understanding of the methodical steps required to quickly identify faults and the steps required to restore system.
  • Sound understanding of HVAC systems and effectively use commissioning equipment to verify performance.
  • Thorough understanding of Australian Standards and carry out inspection and testing to verify compliance to AS1851 Section 13

First Year Apprentice

  • Manual Drivers License
  • White Card

Tradesman Essential Qualifications/License's

  • Certificate III Trade qualification in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Mechanical Services License QBCC (Must)
  • Refrigerant Handling License
  • Restricted Electrical License
  • Essential services testing to AS1851Section 13
  • Manual Drivers License
  • White Card

Desirable Qualifications/Licenses

  • Working at Heights
  • EWP
  • Confined Spaces
  • First Aid Certificate
