We're seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Fire Detection Electrician to join our Qld team. This hybrid role combines both hands-on electrical work with leadership responsibilities.

As the Lead Fire Detection Electrician, you will:


• Assist with fault finding, trouble shooting, inspections, some testing of Fire Detection & Emergency Warning Systems and Associated Control and Indication Equipment.


• Support and guide field trades and apprentices across multiple sites.


• Assist with fire system and evacuation system equipment repairs, upgrades minor works and renewals both autonomously and as part of a team.


• Ability to prioritise daily workload and meet deadlines


• Comply to company policies, procedures, processes, and applicable Australian Industry Standards


• Deliver these services in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and local state based legislative requirements.

Desired Attributes:


• Relevant fire industry experience and applicable QBCC licensing


• Strong knowledge & experience with programming & fault finding / repair in a range of fire panels inclusive but not limited to the following brands: Ampac, Notifier, Pertronic. It would be beneficial if you also have knowledge and experience with MX, Simplex Siemens. The more extensive and comprehensive the more favorable.


• Experience fault finding and repairing a range of pump control panel systems


• Must haveQBCC license (Cert III or above Fire Maintain and Install)


• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude


• Organised & Self-motivated


• Have Good written and verbal Communication skills


• Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment


• Ideal candidate will have Open Cablers license


• Ideal candidate have QBCC special hazards suppression system license


• QLD Driver's license
