We're currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Engineer to join our isolation team based in Canning Vale, WA. We also welcome applications from candidates based at our other locations in Hendon, SA and Hallam, VIC. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a team that prides itself on industry-leading quality standards and a strong culture of safety and collaboration.

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting customers and sales personnel by applying your technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions. You'll be involved in quoting, equipment selection, order management, and supplier coordination. With ongoing mentoring, training, and hands-on experience, you'll continue to grow your engineering knowledge and professional confidence in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this role will be varied and will include, but not limit to the following duties:

  • Provide sales and engineering support for customers and external sales personnel
  • Prepare quotes and select equipment based on customer specifications and data sheets.
  • Manage purchase orders, supplier coordination, and workshop documentation.
  • Contributing to and maintaining quality systems

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry in an engineering-focused role. Previous experience with valves is highly regarded
  • Strong engineering foundation with the ability to interpret technical specifications and apply them effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to customer interaction.
  • A proactive attitude toward building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of initiative, drive and self-motivation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation and order management.
