WPC is a trusted, leading provider of control valves, valve automation and pressure relief systems to the Australian Industrial markets, including Oil and Gas, Mineral Processing, Petrochemical, Water & Wastewater, Chemical and Power.

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join the team in Canning Vale (WA); however, we also welcome applicants from candidates based at our other locations in Hendon (SA) and Hallam (VIC). This is a full-time permanent opportunity within a team that pride themselves on industry best quality standards, and a fantastic working and safety culture. You'll receive ongoing mentoring, training, and practical experience to help build your technical expertise and professional confidence over time.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this role will be varied and will include, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Providing technical and sales support for both customers and external sales teams
  • Prepare customer quotes for services and equipment
  • Processing customer purchase orders, and prepare internal job sheets ensuring accurate sizing and specifications
  • Contributing to and maintaining quality systems

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to perform self-audits
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Proactive approach to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of initiative, drive and self-motivation
  • Previous experience with valves is highly regarded.
  • Genuine desire to learn and grow within a supportive team environment
