We are a fast-growing exploration / mining technology business with our gold detectORE products now sold into more than 35 countries on six continents within a few years of launch. We were awarded "Overall Winner – Western Australia Innovator of the Year, 2023". We are fully funded for growth and the company recently acquired Block 10 Mining Technologies adding new product lines and capabilities.

About the Role:

Based in our Perth Headquarters, we are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the APAC region. Reporting to and supported by the Director Global Sales you will grow revenue, build lasting customer relationships, and collaborate closely with our Customer Success team to win sales and longer-term contracts in mining, exploration and geomet / metallurgical markets.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute regional BD and sales strategy to meet revenue and market-share targets.

Manage key accounts, including mining companies, exploration teams laboratories and distributors.

Lead commercial negotiations and prepare proposals, and quotes.

Build pipeline through prospecting, site visits, conferences, trade shows and industry networks.

Collaborate with product and technical teams and be part of our ecosystem to deliver change and greater efficiency into the MinEx industry.

Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing.

Report on sales performance and forecast accurately to senior leadership.

What we're looking for:

Experience: Minimum 8 years in geology / mining / mineral processing / sales / business development or mineral analysis with proven success in the mining market. Experience and understanding of mineral exploration market also desirable.

Technical understanding of mining operations, exploration workflows.

Track record of embracing innovation, delivering alternative approaches, selling change solutions or services and gaining adoption (either internally or externally).

Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Travel: Willingness to travel across the region for site visits, conferences and customer meetings. May include travel to other regions as required.

Desirable: Bachelor's degree in geology, mining, engineering, business, or related field; CRM experience.
