About the Role
Our client is a forward-thinking psychology practice redefining how therapeutic care is delivered. With a strong focus on innovation, clinical excellence, and genuine human connection, they support clients navigating complex emotional challenges in a modern and compassionate setting.
They're now seeking a Practice Manager who's not just organised, but visionary. Someone who can lead front-of-house operations with professionalism and warmth - while also helping the practice evolve through smarter systems and tech-forward solutions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be the anchor of operations and the heartbeat of the client experience. From streamlining workflows and supporting clinicians, to deploying automations and enhancing how the team works - you'll help redefine what it means to run a modern mental health practice.
You'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently
- Greeting clients, answering enquiries, and managing a calm, welcoming front desk
- Managing bookings, records and reports in Halaxy
- Handling payments, invoicing, and reconciling accounts via Xero
- Exploring and implementing tech and automation to streamline support systems
- Supporting clinicians and the Director with coordination, logistics and day-to-day ops
About You
- Experienced in practice management, healthcare admin or team leadership
- Tech-savvy - confident using platforms like Halaxy and Xero and curious about better ways to do things
- Calm, resourceful, and unflappable in a fast-paced environment
- A relational communicator with a professional presence and genuine warmth
- Committed to growth - yours, the team's, and the clients'
Bonus Points
- Experience in psychology, mental health, or NDIS environments
- Confidence deploying automation or tech tools to improve practice systems
- A natural leader who takes initiative while keeping a people-first mindset
Culture of Company
We're a 'blazer and trainers' kind of team - sharp, human, and real. The team cares deeply, laughs often, and backs each other 100%. Led by a kind, values-driven Director, the workplace culture is real, raw, and resilient. It's a place where great ideas are welcomed and wellbeing is prioritised.
Benefits

- $75K–$85K + super, with scope to evolve the role over time
- Career growth in line with practice development
- Supportive, purpose-led team that genuinely cares
- Opportunity to help shape a leading-edge psychology service
