About the role

East Lindfield Community Preschool is seeking a part-time Diploma qualified Educator (Monday to Wednesday) to join our dedicated team in East Lindfield, NSW in February 2026. As a Diploma qualified Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years old, during school terms.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating within an experienced team to design, implement, and evaluate a child-centred curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Working in a team that values relationships, open communication, and reflective collaboration, ensuring that the rights and voices of children remain central to everything we do.
  • Upholding and embedding the principles of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in every aspect of practice, from documentation and reflective planning to risk management and child safety.
  • Actively promote children's wellbeing and safety in line with the NSW Child Safe Standards, our Child Protection Policies, and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
  • Working in partnership with our families, other professionals and the community to provide a high quality educational program.

What we're looking for

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Educator in a preschool or long day care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the diverse needs of young learners
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
  • A valid Working with Children Check
