Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team based in Parramatta. This role is critical to ensuring accurate invoice validation, timely payment processing, and adherence to company policies within an automated accounts payable environment. You will liaise effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and support seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process invoices accurately using AP automation software
  • Perform periodic vendor account reconciliations
  • Ensure creditor invoice processing and payments comply with company policies and procedures
  • Respond promptly to AP-related inquiries from internal teams and external vendors
  • Manage vendor setup in accordance with company standards
  • Process foreign currency invoices and payments in compliance with policy

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable with relevant tertiary qualifications is not essential however, is highly regarded
  • Experience using ERP systems and automated AP platforms is desirable
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and collaboration
