The Role – What You'll Actually Be Doing

· Bookkeeping and accounting

· Preparing tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts — the usual suspects)

· BAS, IAS, super, payroll tax, and WorkCover support

· Reconciling and preparing financial statements

· Liaising with the ATO, ASIC, Revenue NSW, and other exciting acronyms

· Managing client relationships and being their go-to person

· Staying organised, meeting deadlines, and enjoying the work

What We're Looking For

· A degree in Accounting (or equivalent)

· 2 years' experience in public practice

· Working towards your CA (or planning to)

· Solid knowledge of Aussie tax and accounting laws

· Great attention to detail, with strong time and project management

· People skills — you like a good client chat

· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
