Managing Security Consultant – Assurance

We're now looking for a
Managing Security Consultant
to join our growing
Assurance
practice - this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows what great delivery looks like and loves building high-performing teams.

The Role

Reporting to the
Head of Assurance
, you'll be the operational heartbeat of our Assurance practice - leading consultants, overseeing delivery, and ensuring engagements run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a
blend of technical leadership and team management
. You'll coordinate resources across multiple projects, mentor consultants, and maintain consistency in how we deliver assurance work - while still keeping your technical edge through involvement in complex engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of security consultants delivering high-quality assurance and penetration testing engagements.
  • Oversee project delivery: resourcing, timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor team members to grow their technical capability and consulting skills.
  • Maintain and improve delivery frameworks, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Contribute to technical delivery on complex or high-impact engagements.
  • Drive utilisation and performance targets while fostering a positive team culture.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years' experience in
    offensive security / assurance
    with exposure to consulting delivery.
  • Proven experience
    leading or managing technical teams
    in a professional services setting.
  • Strong technical understanding across
    application, infrastructure, and cloud security
    .
  • Certifications such as
    OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, or CREST CRT/CCT
    (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills: able to balance client needs, team leadership, and delivery quality.
  • A practical, outcome-driven mindset with a genuine interest in developing others.
