Residents and visitors alike make great use of Brimbanks many playgrounds, parks, libraries, neighbourhood houses and community centres.
Some of Brimbanks key attractions include its state-of-the-art performance space – the 'Bowery Theatre' in St Albans; and the worldclass 'Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre' which features a 24-hour gym, waterslides, and heated Olympic sized swimming pools, along with a six green star rating for its innovative and sustainable design.
Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Fixed Term (18 months) staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Are you a passionate and experienced Wellbeing professional ready to make a real impact in an organisation committed to employee health and safety? We're looking for someone just like you to join our dynamic team
Reporting to the OHS Coordinator, we are looking to recruit an experienced and strategic Wellbeing Advisor, who will collaborate across the organisation to help us drive positive wellbeing outcomes through the creation of a physically and psychologically safe and inclusive workplace for all.
We are seeking a Wellbeing Advisor who can bring their skills and experience for:
- Leading and enhancing employee wellbeing initiatives by designing, implementing, and evaluating holistic programs, frameworks, and policies aligned with best practice, legislative requirements, and Brimbank's OHS Strategy and Wellbeing Framework.
- Monitoring emerging trends and data in psychological safety and wellbeing to inform evidence-based improvements, risk management strategies, and trauma-informed responses to psychosocial hazards and incidents.
- Collaborating across departments to build leadership capability and foster a positive, proactive wellbeing culture.
- Coordinating key support programs including EAP, Peer Support and our Employee Experience Advisory Group,
To be considered you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in OHS, Psychology or other allied health discipline, and/or substantial relevant experience (5+ years) in a related field.
- Proven capacity for leadership and ability to work well as a senior team member.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of health, wellbeing and cultural change programs.
