About The Role
As the firm's
Pro Bono Lawyer,
you will be responsible for establishing and driving the firm's pro bono legal initiatives. This includes:
- Building and managing the program from the ground up, including policy development, goal setting, and impact reporting
- Providing and overseeing high-quality pro bono legal services across practice areas, and coordinating firm-wide participation
- Cultivating relationships with community organisations, legal centres, and other stakeholders
- Championing access to justice for vulnerable communities through education, outreach, and support

Key Requirements
- Admitted legal practitioner with a current (or eligible) Queensland practising certificate
- 3–5 years post-admission experience
- Demonstrated commitment to pro bono or community legal work
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We're looking for someone empathetic and culturally aware, with a strategic yet practical mindset. You'll be a collaborative team player who contributes positively to our culture. Experience managing pro bono programs, a passion for social justice, and the ability to work independently while building strong relationships are highly valued. Experience with not-for-profits and an understanding of legal issues affecting vulnerable communities will be an advantage.
