Dispute Resolution & Litigation Practice
Arnold Bloch Leibler's Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice has earned an outstanding reputation for its strategic, practical, and commercially focused advice. The firm's litigators are practised advocates, savvy negotiators and technically skilled lawyers. They are respected as formidable opponents, for their ability to find fresh solutions to complex litigation issues and for the zeal and efficiency with which clients' disputes are resolved.
The Role
An excellent opportunity exists in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice group for an intermediate secretary to join the team in our Sydney office.
Working closely with our partners, lawyers, and their clients, your duties will include:
- typing and collation of various legal documents;
- typing of various commercial contracts/ deeds/ agreements;
- typing of correspondence, memos and email communications;
- typing of dictation tapes;
- contact with clients and other internal staff by telephone and email;
- entry of timesheet data and preparation of client accounts (billing);
- file and diary management (including travel bookings);
- email filing and electronic file management;
- file maintenance and archiving; and
- other administrative tasks as required.
In return, you will work as part of a close-knit team with dynamic and varied clients in an experienced and highly regarded team.
About You
You are an intermediate secretary with experience ideally in private practice or professional services supporting partners. You will bring a committed, proactive, and service-oriented approach to your work. You have exceptional organisational and communication skills, ensuring that you can prioritise tasks efficiently and manage competing deadlines with ease.
The ideal candidate will have experience in timesheet entry and client billing preparation, with a keen eye for detail. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to providing the best possible support, always aiming to exceed expectations.
