Reporting to the Area Building Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage weekly workflow meetings with scheduler and team leader to track each item and job, to drive job closures and output for the team
  • Proactively Plan and Review Schedulers jobs are in line with Targets as provided
  • Act as coach by encouraging, supporting, and mentoring the team
  • Provide the motivation to focus the team and meet customer service objectives
  • Ensure New Home Service/Warranty Inspections are being booked in and set
  • Follow up suppliers and ensure they have scheduled appointments with customers; and
  • Provide support to the Construction Team if required and as directed by the Area Building Manager.
  • Manage the Regional West Quality Assurance Team; and
  • Manage the Service and Warranty budget and spend.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Diploma in Building Construction is desirable, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage
  • Prior experience in leading a team is highly desirable
  • Reasonable trade background is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of construction processes and details
  • Working knowledge of contracts and plan
  • Previous customer service and customer escalation experience
  • Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Word Documents
  • Working knowledge of current Standards and Tolerances relevant to the home building industry, and any other industry publications; and
  • A GREAT ATTITUDE
