What you'll contribute to

The Legal Managers within the Legal Team are primarily responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and effective management of the Legal team to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services and advice to the business

How you'll make an impact

  • Management: Assisting in leading and managing the legal team, including providing guidance, mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and managing the team's performance and development.
  • Legal Advisory: Providing and overseeing the provision of legal advice and support to various business units and functions, including contract negotiations, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters.
  • Legal Strategy: Assisting in developing and implementing legal strategies and policies that align with the company's objectives and support its business operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the company and externally, including senior management, other business units, and external counsel.
  • Legal Operations: Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the legal team and ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively

Your attributes

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • 10 years' accumulative experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law
  • Experience in financial services
  • Management experience
  • Excellent writing skills, well-developed communication, facilitation and presentation skills
