About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and empathetic Customer Relationship Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, helping them navigate overdue accounts with professionalism and care. You'll play a key role in building customer trust and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts with overdue balances using various collection strategies

  • Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to negotiate and establish payment plans

  • Investigate to locate and re-establish contact with hard-to-reach customers

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account updates

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and account resolution

  • Address concerns, resolve disputes, and handle objections effectively

  • Monitor and report on the status of outstanding accounts

  • Provide excellent service while managing sensitive or challenging conversations

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection

  • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive issues

  • Previous experience in customer service, collections, finance, or sales is ideal — but not essential
