About the business
We are boutique law firm in Manly which specialises in Family Law, Wills and Estates and Conveyancing. Our goal is to provide amazing customer service and help people through some of their most difficult times with compassion, skill and practical solutions.
The work atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and everyone has a chance to participate in decision-making and the direction the firm takes.
About the role
We are looking for a receptionist/administrative assistant. The main roles will be:
- Greeting clients
- Answer all phone calls and handle initial customer enquiries
- Arrange meetings and appointments, both face-to-face and via Zoom
- Email and diary management
- General file management including data entry and archiving
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including organising couriers
- Invoicing, processing client payments and banking
- Debt recovery where necessary
- Legal document drafting
- Assisting with social media management
- General administrative duties such as printing, scanning, photocopying, ordering stationery/office supplies and groceries
Skills and experience
The essential qualities of the successful candidate for this role are:
- Someone who is highly organised and detail-focused
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine desire to help our clients
- Motivated and able to complete tasks to a high standard without ongoing supervision
- Microsoft Office experience is ideal but not essential
Prior experience in an administrative role or law firm is desirable but not essential. We are open to applicants who wish to work on either a fulltime or parttime basis.

There is scope for the right person to grow the role and move into a legal secretary/paralegal position.
