About the role:

We're seeking a career-minded Assistant Property Manager to run their own portfolio, supported by a dedicated property management team. This is a casual role with flexible working hours and potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangements for the right candidate.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, goal-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure clear and effective communication
  • Coordinating and attending to both routine and emergency maintenance requests
  • Conducting routine and periodic property inspections in line with legislative requirements, and providing detailed reports to landlords
  • Attending and managing open homes for vacant rental properties
  • Conducting regular rent reviews and providing recommendations
  • Organising and managing lease renewals
  • Assisting in the ongoing growth of our rent roll
  • Overseeing maintenance and repairs workflow, including preparation and completion of ingoing and outgoing condition reports

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a property management background and must meet the following criteria:

  • Certificate of Registration in Real Estate
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Confidence in communicating with landlords, tenants, and tradespeople
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Proficient in data entry and digital property management systems
