About the Role:

For our client, the Lending Associate is at the heart of relationships with their customers, working with this team based in Bella Vista, you'll provide a seamless home loan experience for their customers. The role supports their brokers by managing the end-to-end home loan process whilst seamlessly guiding their clients from application to settlement.

What you will do:

  • Understand and manage the end-to-end process for home loan applications and manage the post approval process.
  • Ensure home loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, lodging pricing approvals and other required documents.
  • Prepare credit submissions for new home loan applications and ensuring all data entry reflects information from source documents including the completion of online calculators e.g., Servicing and LMI Calculators.
  • Place the customers at the centre of everything you do by providing exceptional service from the loan offer stage right through to loan fulfillment/funding, whilst continually ensuring customers become advocates of our client..
  • Communicating with the clients and lender from submission to settlement.
  • Liaising with clients, financial institutions, Accountants, Solicitors, Valuers, and other strategic alliances.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, referrers, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance checks are completed in line with requirements.
  • Managing settlement with lenders.

What you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' Banking or Finance experience as a Lending Associate/Lending Support Officer/Loan Writer or similar role in the mortgage or lending industry.
  • Strong Mortgage Lending knowledge.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a very high attention to detail
  • A client-centric approach and the ability to naturally build relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing loan applications and supporting documents.
  • Self-driven with high organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to communicate (both written and verbal) with loan officers, assessors/underwriters, solicitors/lawyers as well Lender BDM's to achieve desired outcomes for all stakeholders, whilst simultaneously delivering a great customer experience.
