This role will report to the Senior Facilities Manager and provide an excellent opportunity for someone early in their facilities management career to gain hands-on experience in commercial property operations while supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operational excellence of our 51-storey office tower and heritage building.Key Responsibilities:Perform administrative tasks related to facilities operations and compliance reportingAssist with daily building operations and coordinating repairs with relevant contractors across the tower and heritage buildingCoordinate and schedule preventive maintenance activities with vendors and contractorsConduct routine building inspections and document findings using established checklists and proceduresRespond to tenant service requests and work orders in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairsAssist with emergency response procedures and after-hours building issuesSupport WH&S management activities including contractor safety compliance, incident management reporting, and site inductionsAssist with risk assessment procedures and safety training coordinationHelp ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsSupport energy management initiatives and sustainability programsOur Ideal Candidate Should Have:Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and team membersDemonstrated eagerness to learn and develop new skills in facilities managementExcellent organisational abilities and attention to detailAbility to prioritise tasks and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to think critically and seek solutionsWillingness to learn and adapt to new software systems and technology platformsPositive attitude towards learning compliance requirements and safety proceduresWhat Would Set You Apart:Any experience in customer service or client-facing rolesTrade background or technical educationPrevious exposure to maintenance, construction, or building-related work (including apprenticeships, internships, or part-time roles)Experience learning and using computer software or database systemsBasic understanding and respect of workplace safety principlesDemonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and processesExperience working in team environments or coordinating with multiple stakeholdersInterest in sustainability and environmental initiativesStrong attention to detailWhat We Can Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageProfessional development opportunities including WH&S and compliance trainingMentorship from experienced facilities management professionalsCareer advancement potential within JLL's global platformExposure to diverse building systems and soft services managementWhat can you expect from us?You'll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
