As part of our continued growth and operational development, we are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to establish and lead our maintenance and facilities management function across the property portfolio.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this newly created position will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of all maintenance and facilities activities across Centrepoint Property Group's residential and commercial assets.
This role will oversee both internal maintenance staff and a network of external contractors, ensuring all works are delivered efficiently, safely, and in a cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, reporting frameworks, and operational systems to enhance productivity and service delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the end-to-end maintenance and facilities management of the company's residential and commercial property portfolio.
• Manage and coordinate internal maintenance personnel and external contractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of works.
• Conduct routine property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain structured maintenance programs, schedules, and reporting systems.
• Establish and refine standard operating procedures to support efficient and transparent maintenance operations.
• Monitor expenditure and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
• Lead the implementation and utilisation of property and maintenance management software to improve tracking, reporting, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular maintenance and facilities performance reports to management.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities across maintenance and asset management processes.

About You
The ideal candidate will be an organised, disciplined, and technically proficient professional with demonstrated experience in maintenance or facilities management across a property portfolio. You will possess strong leadership capabilities, sound commercial acumen, and the ability to implement structured systems and processes within a dynamic environment.
Key requirements include:
• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within the property or real estate sector.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance or facilities management is essential for this role.
• Strong technical understanding of building maintenance, asset management, and compliance.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate teams of internal and external contractors.
• Experience leading small teams of people is required.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and reporting frameworks.
• Strong budgeting, analytical, and cost management capabilities.
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency with property management and maintenance software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach.
• A current driver's licence.
• Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be considered for this position.
