AngliSchools is a growing system of Anglican schools providing high-quality, inclusive education across Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.

We're seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities and Maintenance Officer to take ownership of the upkeep, safety, and presentation of AngliSchools House in Perth, which includes the Head Office, St George's Anglican Grammar School, and AngliSchools International School.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects and working closely with the Business Manager, this position is responsible for the smooth operation, presentation, and safety of our facilities.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.

Your day will be varied and will include:

  • Carrying out daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep tasks
  • Coordinating contractors and scheduled maintenance works
  • Maintaining safety and compliance registers (fire, electrical, lifts, HVAC, etc.)
  • Supporting building systems including access controls, HVAC, and security monitoring
  • Assisting with setups for meetings, events, and school activities
  • Ensuring a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for all staff and students

About You

You're someone who takes initiative, enjoys variety, and takes pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in facilities, building, or site maintenance
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in facilities, building, or site maintenance
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements
  • Basic awareness level knowledge of WHS and compliance practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
  • A trade background or relevant qualifications (highly regarded)

Essential requirements:

A current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and Driver's Licence (or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement).
