We're seeking a Demand Planner – Culinary to join the Stores & Inventory Purchasing team at Levy. This casual role offers full-time hours from October through February, where you'll work closely with Culinary teams, suppliers, and operations to forecast demand, ensure timely procurement, and support seamless stock movement before, during, and after the Australian Open.
The Position- Consolidate and validate forecasts into supplier-facing formats to support timely procurement.
- Collaborate with Culinary to reflect evolving menus and outlet needs in demand plans.
- Meet forecasting milestones across planning phases – initial, refined, and finalised.
- Draft and execute preproduction and tournament orders with precision.
- Conduct product data audits and correct anomalies in systems.
- Participate in operational planning, tracking stock run-downs, and optimising storage.
- Submit daily tournament orders, including working split shifts during key phases.
- Assist with end-of-tournament stock counts, returns, and supplier close-outs.
- Experience with demand planning and purchasing in foodservice, hospitality, or major events.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to adapt systems and tools quickly.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A collaborative, flexible approach with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Desirable: tertiary qualifications and 3+ years in a fast-paced procurement environment.
