Corporate Performance Business Partner

Permanent | Full-time | 9-day fortnight

About the Role

As our Corporate Performance Business Partner, you'll be the go-to advisor who helps leaders turn insight into action.

You won't just produce reports — you'll build trusted relationships, spark meaningful conversations about what's working, and help close performance gaps so our teams can achieve the outcomes that matter most to our community.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with leaders and teams to understand their goals and challenges, helping them track progress and stay focused on what matters.
  • Facilitate conversations and workshops that uncover opportunities for improvement and celebrate success.
  • Translate data into clear stories that motivate action and guide better decisions.
  • Strengthen Council's performance culture by helping teams connect the dots between their work and community impact.

You will bring:

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience helping teams plan, monitor, and improve performance — whether in local government or another complex organisation.
  • A knack for making information clear and compelling so leaders can make confident, evidence-based decisions.
  • Great communication and facilitation skills — you enjoy guiding discussions and engaging stakeholders.
  • The ability to stay organised, adapt quickly, and juggle competing priorities with confidence.

Technical skills with performance monitoring tools or dashboards are useful, but your strength in partnering with people and helping them achieve their goals will set you apart.
