At MULTIVAC Australia, we partner with global technology leaders to deliver premium equipment solutions to the food industry. As the exclusive distributor of Provisur Technologies, we supply and support integrated systems for grinding, mixing, separating, forming, slicing, and further processing, designed for high-throughput, high-performance production.

We are now looking for a Business Unit Manager to take ownership of the Provisur portfolio across Australia. This is a strategic leadership role offering autonomy, commercial influence, and the opportunity to grow a premium international brand in one of the region's most vital sectors.

About the Role

Based in Australia with national responsibility, you will lead the growth, positioning and performance of the Provisur business unit. This includes developing market strategy, driving sales performance, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with both local and international teams.

You'll work closely with our state-based sales teams, service engineers, technical experts, and key food industry clients to ensure Provisur solutions deliver measurable value. This role involves regular domestic travel and occasional international travel.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the national growth strategy for the Provisur product portfolio
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market objectives
  • Engage directly with customers and support capital equipment sales
  • Guide and collaborate with local sales teams across states
  • Work with technical and service teams to ensure end-to-end customer success
  • Liaise with global Provisur stakeholders on training, product updates, and local strategy
  • Represent MULTIVAC and Provisur at trade shows, demonstrations, and industry events

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a commercially driven, technically capable leader with strong knowledge of food production environments and capital equipment. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in front of clients, alongside engineers, or in strategic planning sessions.

You will bring:

  • A strong technical understanding of food processing equipment - ideally in meat, poultry, protein and related food industry segments
  • Experience with capital equipment sales or business development is preferred, however candidates from within the industry with a passion for sales will also be considered
  • Solid commercial acumen and the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to engage cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills
  • A willingness to travel regularly across Australia (and occasionally overseas)
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, food technology, business, or similar (preferred)
