An established, Perth-based organisation is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for a mid-sized workforce. You'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with relevant employment conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and maintaining employee records, including onboarding, contract changes, and terminations.
  • Ensuring staff have appropriate access to payroll-related functions and information.
  • Preparing monthly reports, including leave balances and payroll accruals.
  • Responding to employee queries and providing guidance
  • Assisting with award interpretation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Multi-award interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience of Payroll processing and reporting
