Legion Drilling is seeking a competent Operations Support / Office Administrator to support our NSW operations team. This position is integral to the effective function of 8 drilling rigs working in NSW and interstate. Legion Drilling works with various clients, including large mining companies, engineering firms, and the Government. Our project locations range from metropolitan sites to remote areas, with our field crews frequently traveling interstate.

The Operations Support / Office Administrator role is an entry-level position with great scope and potential for high performers to progress into operations, safety, and management in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain online training and compliance documents.
  • Manage employee onboarding, site inductions.
  • Monitor and audit staff timesheets and rig shift reporting.
  • Booking crews flight and related travel requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure crews complete project specific training an inductions
  • Report daily on crew safety compliance and shift reporting.
  • General ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

About You:

  • Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suites software and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an aptitude for managing stakeholder communications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a solution-focused attitude.
  • Previous experience working in Administration or Business Support is desirable.
