Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to report directly into the Finance Manager. This role offers exposure across AP, month-end and payroll, with support and training provided.

Role Requirements

  • 1–2 years' experience in an accounting support role
  • Some exposure to Accounts Payable
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Suitable for someone just starting or already commenced their CPA
  • Willingness to learn and grow with training provided

Role Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices and matching statements
  • Month-end reconciliations (bank, credit card, other accounts)
  • Assisting with payroll, BAS and compliance tasks
  • Supporting reporting, journals and ad hoc finance projects
  • Suggesting ways to improve finance processes
