Permanent Part-Time | Minimum 50 Hours per Fortnight

Fraser Coast Hospice is a purpose-built, 6-bed facility offering 24-hour inpatient multidisciplinary palliative care to adults in our community with a terminal illness. We provide compassionate, person-centered care in a calm, supportive environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising & Events Coordinator to join our team. This vital role will help raise much-needed funds to support terminally ill people and their families across the Fraser Coast.

You'll take the lead in planning, promoting, and delivering events and fundraising activities that contribute directly to the sustainability of our hospice services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute fundraising events and campaigns
  • Develop partnerships and relationships with donors, sponsors, and community groups
  • Promote events through digital and traditional channels
  • Track fundraising outcomes and report on performance
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as needed
  • Represent the hospice at events, which will include evenings and weekends

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Motivated, compassionate and community-minded
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experienced in fundraising, event management and administration
  • Proficient with social media and promotional tools
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with clinical staff, volunteers and the wider community
  • Able to work 5 hours per day Monday to Friday, and have availability for evening and weekend events

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of Year 12 education
  • A Certificate III in Events or equivalent experience (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ethics, professionalism, and trustworthiness
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
