Pro-Rata Salary Range of $110,441 Base to $126,960 Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11.5% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit
We are seeking three detail oriented Project Managers to lead the operational development, conduct, oversight and successful completion of clinical trial research projects.
These positions are critical in ensuring that all clinical activities are executed in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (CGP) ethical and regulatory standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of clinical trial projects from initiation through to close-out
- Ensure all activities are in accordance with GCP, regulatory requirements and SOP's
- Develop and management project timelines, budgets and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure projects milestones are met
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including investigators, sponsors and regulatory bodies
- Identify and resolve project-related issues and risks proactively
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders

To support your application, please address the following criteria in your cover letter:
- Experience in Clinical Trials: Please detail your proven experience managing clinical trials including Phases to I-IV.
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Can you please outline your in-depth understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, ICH guidelines and other relevant regulations
- Leadership/ Team Management: Describe your ability and experience leading multidisciplinary teams fostering collaboration, communication, mentoring and training of team members
Skills, Knowledge and Experience/ Our Successful Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in a related science or healthcare discipline, with at least 3 years of experience managing complex drug intervention clinical trials.
- Excellent knowledge of research and project management principles, ICH/GCP, ethical and regulatory requirements, and experience in managing NHMRC/MRFF budgets.
- Proven project delivery and management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and develop others.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to understand and manage priorities
- Ability to work independently, as well as awareness of when to escalate issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to travel (for interstate and global projects only)
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours of work for collaboration and contact with global teams based on requirements of the position
