About You

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us continue our growth in the Oceania Region. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads focusing on security products selling in the vertical segment. Ideal candidates would be someone from CCTV security integrators, distributors, or consultants.

About the Role

Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads,

pitch the Dahua Technology range of products to new clients and

maintain a good working relationship with new and existing contacts. If the thought of sitting behind a desk all day gives you itchy feet, this could be the job for you as you'll be required to spend a large amount of time visiting clients and attending networking events. You'll usually work office hours, Monday to Friday but there are often we work outside the normal hours too. A generous remuneration package, including an incentive plan and car allowance, is on offer to the right candidate.

Your Responsibilities

  • Following up new and existing business opportunities and arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Planning and preparing customer presentations (say hello to PowerPoint).
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Build and develop detailed business plans, identify key partners, accounts (system integrators, big installers, distributors) and end-users.
  • Develop and implement annual and periodic sales activity plans; adhering to Dahua Technology's best practice in creating unique, objective driven activity plans & analysing outcomes;
  • Professionally represent Dahua Technology at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Ability to calmly and professionally work under pressure and a high level of agility - be to quickly adapt or evolve in response to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in a surveillance and security market
  • Proven sales track record in getting new business and achieving company goals in a surveillance and security market
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with a high proficiency in English.
  • Excellent presentation, Communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Security and surveillance market knowledge will be highly considered but not mandatory
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Bachelor degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Ability to work to multiple deadlines whilst staying calm under pressure.
