About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Cook to join our busy kitchen team at Shri Maha Varahi' in Geelong, Victoria. As a full-time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, delicious meals that showcase our innovative Indian cuisine and delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes to our exacting standards
  • Ensure all food items are prepared, cooked and presented to the highest quality
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food safety and hygiene certification
