What we are looking for:

We're

looking for someone with strong project management skills to join our high performing team.

You'll

manage the delivery or a diverse range of park, open

space

and natural environment related projects. This is a varied, interesting position and an excellent opportunity to hone your skills. 

What your day will look like:

  • Overseeing projects from

inception

through to completion

  • Investigating proposed capital projects and

determining

validity

  • Overseeing engaged internal

and external

consultants

  • Engaging with key community

and council

stakeholders

  • Undertaking procurement, managing budgets, and reporting

  • Providing input into the 10 Year Capital Program

What

you'll

need for success:

You'll

have

significant experience

in a similar role and will be confident and capable managing projects from

inception

to completion.

Ideally

you'll

have worked within a parks and open space environment, with a knowledge of relevant acts and legislation. 

You'll

have:

  • Strong communication

skills with the ability to relate well to a variety of people

  • Experience in contracts and

procurement

tendering

processes

including tendering

  • Solid organisational, planning and time management skills
