Welcome to Disability Support Project, where we focus exclusively on Coordination of Support to ensure NDIS participants get the most out of their NDIS plan. Our organisation adapts to ever-changing policies and continually updates best practices to better help our participants. Unlike other providers, we do not provide other NDIS services, allowing us to remain fully dedicated to support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching. This unique approach helps us provide specialized and unbiased support to our participants.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach located in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie/Maitland region of NSW. Daily tasks include developing support plans, maintaining client records, liaising with other service providers, and ensuring clients receive the services outlined in their NDIS plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
  • Experience in Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
  • Knowledge in mental health and disability support needs
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
  • Experience with NDIS is essential
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
