About Us

ACS Australian Construction Services is a family-owned civil contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across various sites in the Eastern states of Australia. Due to company expansion, we are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join our site-based team in Gympie on a full-time basis, including regular site visits on FIFO projects.

You will be joining a diverse, team with a strong commitment to quality and safety across all aspects of our projects.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall project delivery, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met

• Prepare and review tender submissions, cost plans and project estimates

• Lead site operations, including coordination of site teams and subcontractors

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and legislative requirements

• Maintain QA and WHS systems, ensuring site safety and quality standards

• Manage construction files, supplier contracts and subcontractor performance

• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, councils, and suppliers


Requirements

Essential:

• Strong experience in civil construction project management

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Sound knowledge of safety, environmental and quality systems (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001)

• Ability to read and interpret civil design plans and specifications

• Proficiency with project management tools including MS Office.

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Highly Desired:

• Previous experience managing local government infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with roads, earthworks, retaining walls, and drainage

• Demonstrated knowledge of local and state construction standards
