At Eclipse Sound and Vision, we specialise in high-end, permanent audio-visual installations for some of Sydney's most respected organisations. We're known for our attention to detail, quality workmanship, and exceptional service and we're looking to expand our growing team.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Audio Visual Installer / Electrician. This is a site-based role focusing on permanently installing and commissioning AV systems (not live production/hire). You'll work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a friendly team that values precision, professionalism, and pride in every install.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install audio-visual, video conferencing, and control systems
  • Rough in and terminate structured cabling (audio, video, data)
  • Mount and connect AV equipment
  • Build and wire up equipment racks
  • Interpret AV schematics and room drawings and mark up for as built creation.
  • Test and pre-commission systems before client handover
  • Ensure installations are clean, professional, and technically sound
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless client experience

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years' experience in AV, electrical, or data/security trades (Electrical licence highly regarded)
  • Experience with running cabling, mounting equipment, rack building, and reading/interpreting technical drawings
  • Good understanding of IT networking principles
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Manual driver's licence (confident driver with ability to drive larger trade vehicles/trucks)
  • White Card (OH&S)

Highly Regarded:

  • AVIXA CTS certification
  • Electrical licence or electronics certification
  • Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron certifications
  • IT networking qualifications (e.g. Cisco) or strong working knowledge of IPv4 networking
  • Working with children check
  • Police check

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (occasionally Saturday or after hours may be requested)
  • 8-hour shifts
