Operations Executive

Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dedicated Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's operational functions, with a strong focus on asset management—including housing, facilities, and IT systems. This role ensures that all assets are maintained to a high standard and that operational systems are effectively managed to support organizational efficiency and service delivery.

This identified position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strength and self-determination of the local Aboriginal community.

In this key role, you will:

· Work closely with the External Accountant

· Oversee internal financial management systems

· Manage and maintain all organizational assets, including housing, vehicles, equipment, and facilities.

· Ensure timely and effective maintenance of all assets, coordinating repairs, upgrades, and compliance checks.

· Oversee the management and functionality of operational systems, including IT infrastructure, software platforms, and digital tools and Quality Assurance systems

· Provide strategic advice to the Executive Team

· Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and fit for purpose.

· Develop and implement asset and systems management strategies to support long-term sustainability.

· Coordinate procurement, vendor relationships, and contract management related to assets and systems.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all operational areas.

· Support budgeting and forecasting for asset and system-related expenditures.
