Cathedral College Wangaratta is seeking a strategic and visionary marketing professional to join the Senior Management Team as Director of Communications and Community Engagement.

The Director of Communications and Community Engagement will be intricately involved in the life of the College and will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the development, direction and control of the College's marketing, communications, website, social media and public relations content. Working in partnership with the Principal, Senior Executive and Registrar, the appointee will implement and maintain a marketing strategy that is aligned with the strategic direction of the College in order to drive the recruitment and retention of families and to develop initiatives to respond to the market and engage with the College community through meaningful connections.

The position requires a highly proficient leader who is able to effectively initiate and deliver positive changes and build and align processes, systems and people to achieve exceptional communication outcomes. A key responsibility for this role is to strengthen community relations and provide appropriate positioning and brand development necessary to achieve the College's strategic objectives.

A comprehensive understanding of Education would be an advantage.
