About the Role

We are seeking an
experienced Development Manager
to take ownership of land development projects from concept to completion. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role requiring strong leadership, decision-making, and end-to-end project management skills.

The successful candidate will have proven experience
delivering land development projects
, managing statutory approvals, design, civil works, construction, marketing, and sales. A critical component of the role is building and maintaining relationships with external clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and expectations are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of land development projects, including planning, approvals, design, construction, and sales.
  • Take full ownership of project budgets, timelines, risks, and quality, reporting to senior management and external clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, government authorities, and consultants.
  • Drive procurement and contractor management, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Coordinate, attend and document project meetings, ensuring follow-up and action items are addressed.
  • Monitor financial performance, forecasting, and reporting for multiple projects.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong commercial focus.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Town Planning, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing
    end-to-end land development projects
    .
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Solutions-focused, proactive, and able to prioritise across multiple complex projects.
