We are a dynamic, community-based practice offering a range of services, including in-home visits, school visits, appointments at the Cloverdale community centre, and telehealth support. We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapists for ongoing casual employment. We service the Geelong region, Bellarine Peninsula and Surf-Coast Peninsula.

We are looking for Occupational Therapists to join our Geelong-based team. Applicants should have experience working with adults and adolescents with psychosocial and physical disabilities, including Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injury, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disabilities (plus many more).

As part of the team, you will primarily work with NDIS participants, between 7 years to 65. If you are not confident with working with young adults, that is not a problem as you can ask not to be given that age group.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • You are an empathetic and friendly individual with a sense of humour and a positive outlook
  • Transparent and non-judgmental
  • Have a love for helping others and making a difference
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the NDIS field
  • Valid Australian Driver's License (with full comprehensive insurance)
  • Reliable Car
  • Hold an Occupational Therapy degree and Valid AHPRA Registration
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS workers screening
  • No ABN required
  • Cleared Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Experience in using evidence-based assessments to complete comprehensive functional assessments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide your own Laptop with reliable internet connection
  • Ability to build rapport with our participants

What you'll be doing

  • Assessing NDIS participants and determining their functional capacity and skill level through a range of clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Manage your own calendar.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
  • Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain detailed participant records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure optimal participant outcomes.
  • Construct reports and letters for our NDIS participants (for example, Functional Capacity Assessment report, Plan Review report, Assistive Technology reports, Supported Independent Living reports).
