Our success comes from our people — a skilled and dedicated team of Project Managers, Foremen, Supervisors, and delivery crews, many of whom have been part of the Dormway family for over a decade.

We are now seeking a skilled and driven Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our dedicated Dormway Project delivery team. This role is critical to the successful delivery of the BBT program and requires a strategic, proactive, and community-focused approach to engagement. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of meaningful, large-scale infrastructure that directly benefits local communities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Day to day strategic engagement efforts to support project delivery and maintain community confidence.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with a broad range of stakeholders—internal, external, and community-based.
  • Coordinate timely notifications via phone and written communication to ensure a "no surprises" approach to works.
  • Monitor, respond to, and help resolve complaints and concerns in collaboration with the project team.
  • Identify and escalate stakeholder issues that may impact project timelines or reputation.
  • Uphold a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a seasoned stakeholder engagement professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and understands the nuances of working on high-profile infrastructure projects.

You'll bring:

  • Strong experience in stakeholder and community engagement, ideally on infrastructure or public sector projects.
  • Qualifications in communications, stakeholder engagement, public relations, or a related field (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience supporting projects within a construction or infrastructure delivery setting.
  • The ability to balance community expectations with project requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
