About Strive
Founded in 1996 as Landsdale Family Support Association Inc., our original purpose was to provide respite camps for children with disabilities at Landsdale Farm School. In 2009 we changed our name to Family Support WA Inc, as we expanded our services to include young adults. Over the last 29 years we have grown to provide several services to people of all ages with disabilities, as well as now operating the Landsdale Farm located in the northern metropolitan suburb of Darch. We are called Strive Together WA Inc. to better reflect the wide range of services we provide in the community.
About the Opportunity
Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives on building strong governance systems that protect both people and organisations? We are seeking a Quality, Risk and Compliance Coordinator to assist with the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Strive's quality and compliance frameworks. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Executive Management Team (EMT), you will partner with our Disability Services team and Manager, Farm Operations to ensure compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, Work Health and Safety Act 2020, and any other relevant codes of practice, legislation, and regulatory obligations.
This role involves balancing the oversight of our risk management systems with providing practical guidance to staff and leaders. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding service quality, driving a culture of accountability and transparency, and ensuring that Strive continues to deliver safe, person-centred, and innovative supports to our community. This is a full-time position based at the Strive Head Office in Darch.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee incident management, risk registers, audits, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice to the EMT on governance, policy, and compliance matters.
- Support our culture of continuous improvement through training, policy development, and organisational learning.
- Monitor trends, identify risks, and implement proactive strategies to strengthen service delivery and safety.
- Coordinate preparation for internal and external audits, quality reviews, and accreditation processes.
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or a related discipline.
- 2 – 3 years' experience in a quality, risk, or compliance role within the NDIS, healthcare, or community services sector.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders to strengthen compliance and embed shared accountability within teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
