The Role

We are seeking a permanent full-time receptionist to join our team.

This position is perfect for someone with outstanding interpersonal skills and a passion for working collaboratively to provide high-quality support to clients, clinicians, and staff. Whether you have prior experience or are eager to learn, we are primarily looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm, compassion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer support, including booking appointments and processing payments/receipts.
  • Manage client accounts, including invoicing and Medicare rebate processing.
  • Support clinicians with diary management and administrative tasks.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Reconcile daily activity reports within our practice management software.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring and respectful approach.
  • Compassionate nature with the ability to support vulnerable mental health clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with varying faiths or beliefs.
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration in a supportive environment.
  • Problem-solving abilities and initiative in the workplace.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Professional presentation and an excellent phone manner.
  • Ability to provide a valid Working with Children Check number and pass a police background check.
