About Us

Based in Orange, Bloomfield Medical Group and Bloomfield Specialist Group are home to a group of General Practitioners and Specialists, who work closely with the administration team on a day-to-day basis. Our doctors are both permanent and visiting and we cater to each of them in their respective field. We also operate the Orange Urgent Care Service out of the same facility.

Our location is neighboured by Orange Health Service, The Remington Hotel Orange & Early Rise Childcare Orange as well as having Pathology, Radiology, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy services also on site.

We are currently looking to grow our  team and are looking for Full-time, Part-time and Casual admin staff. We are open to applicants with preferences of a range of shifts from -  full time hours, part time hours, hours during the evening, hours over the weekend.

About You

Bloomfield Medical Group is a fast paced, state-of-the-art facility which continues to grow and as such, we are looking for Medical Receptionists to work with our team.

Our hours range between 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday to Friday, with Urgent Care operating weekends. Orange Urgent Care Service hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm on weekends and public holidays.

As well as having previous experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge & experience working alongside Specialists would be highly advantageous.

Preferred Criteria:

· experience within the Medical sector

· flexibility to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm.

· willingness to learn

· willingness to be a part of a team

Responsibilities and Duties (may include but are not limited to):

· Open / Close of rooms

· Front desk reception

· Incoming and outgoing phone calls

· Emails, faxing, scanning, banking

· Data entry

· Cater to all doctors/patient requests

· Corresponding with doctors, hospitals, patients, peers and management

· Using multiple software programs

· Attendance at staff meetings
