Blackheath Dental is seeking a friendly, passionate Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our welcoming and hardworking team with supportive management on a long-term basis to replace a beloved team member. Grow, be supported and valued in this role - 4 to 5 days a week. Practice is open Monday to Friday (9.00 am to 5.00 pm) and Saturday mornings by appointments.

Blackheath Dental aims to provide all our patients with exceptional dental care and endeavour to make them feel at home in the practice every visit. Our practice is a fun and vibrant place to work.

The Dental Assistant/Receptionist role will rotate between dental assisting duties and receptionist duties: greeting patients, taking phone calls, booking appointments, processing payments, providing chairside assistance and sterilisation tasks.

This role will suit someone who loves interacting with people, who is well presented and who has a warm and bubbly personality. Full training including workshops will be provided to equip you with the skills you need to succeed in this role long-term. Any level of experience will be considered as it is more important to us that you fit well within our team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A clear focus on excellent Customer Service
  • Advanced communication and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • The ability to follow clear guidelines and direction, multi-task and work well within a fast paced, cohesive team environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Sound computer literacy skills
