About the role
Suiting an experienced and ambitious Accountant working to work 3 or 4 days per week, you will be responsible for providing high-quality taxation services and financial advisory support to our diverse range of clients.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and lodging accurate tax returns for individual and business clients
- Advising clients on tax planning strategies to minimise their tax obligations
- Conducting tax research to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports and BAS statements
- Providing tailored financial advice and recommendations to clients
- Collaborating with the wider accounting team to deliver exceptional client service
- Staying up-to-date with changes in taxation laws and regulations
What we're looking for
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
- At least 3 years experience in a Australian Public Practice
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
