YHA Sydney Harbour, boasting 263 beds across 106 rooms, is situated in the city's core, offering cozy and economical lodging to both groups and solo travellers from across the globe. Perched with a backdrop of breathtaking vistas of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge, this award-winning YHA stands atop the archaeological echoes of The Rocks, Sydney's storied quarter, melding cutting-edge amenities and eco-friendly practices with a touch of historical charm.

About the role:We are seeking a part-time (minimum 15 hours) Front Desk Extraordinaire—a dynamic and motivated person committed to providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This role involves fostering a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, responding to guest inquiries with knowledgeable local advice and recommendations, managing efficient check-ins and check-outs, and offering vital information to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, the candidate will resolve any guest concerns or disputes, escalating them to the appropriate management when necessary.

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience in front desk reception, customer service in an accommodation setting
• Good time management skills and commitment to adhere to policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and team
• Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
