Service Advisor:

Are you involved in the agricultural, construction or automotive industry and looking for a change? We are looking to employ a Service Advisor/Administrator to join our small team in Terang.

Meltrac Machinery is part of the family-owned Melbourne Tractors Group with over 35 years of partnering with our customers delivering, repairing and servicing awesome construction and agricultural machines including Kobelco, New Holland, Merlo, ASVs and more

About the Role:

As a Service Advisor/Administrator, you will be the face of our Terang Dealership, working directly with our valued customers, delivering premium service. Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing customers' needs, recommending appropriate services and secure bookings
  • Co-ordinating service appointments, managing workshop schedules, arranging parts and sublet services
  • Communicating with technicians and customers to ensure on time delivery and a seamless customer service experience.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any concerns with professionalism and efficiency
  • Invoicing and closing out repair orders in a timely manner

  • An outstanding communicator
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised with a talent for multi-tasking
  • A great problem solving, thriving under pressure and thinking on your feet
  • A team player who values collaboration and positivity
  • Experienced in the operations of a busy dealership and workshop
  • Highly computer literate and a quick learner - DMS experience preferred
