As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us take Zia Kitchen to the next level — starting with a dedicated and experienced Café Manager who shares our vision for excellence and community connection.

Position Overview

We're on the lookout for a hands-on, motivated Café Manager who can confidently oversee daily operations and lead a dedicated front-of-house team. The café operates 7 days a week, with full-time baristas supporting operations on the manager's RDOs. This is a key leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a love for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate café staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold Zia Kitchen's brand values
  • Onboard, train, and support new team members to ensure a smooth integration into the team
  • Oversee and manage weekly budgeting, stock control, and performance reporting
  • Create and manage weekly staff rosters, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Supervise and manage all daily café operations, from opening to closing procedures
  • Maintain excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation across the venue
  • Deliver consistently high-quality espresso coffee – strong barista skills are essential
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture while ensuring a seamless guest experience
